CowCreek CLR Bit
The CowCreek CLR bit is great for Collection, Lift & Rate. It has a delayed reaction time allowing the horse more time to do their job softly but the contact is there when you need it. The set back curb will help keep the shoulders square in horses that tend to over-bend.
The caged copper beads allow for a greater distribution of contact over the lips and bars. The copper beads and cricket assist in increasing salivation while the cricket keeps the tongue active which naturally relaxes the jaw.
Twisted with Copper Inlay with Copper Roller- The curved twisted copper inlay mouthpiece applies pressure across the bars without being harsh. Pressure is applied more evenly across the mouth than a two piece. The small amount of copper encourages the horse to relax and salivate, without being too stimulating or distracting.
3 Piece with Copper Beads Mouthpiece - The copper beads increases salivation which naturally relaxes the jaw. The beads also roll which reduces pressure on the bars of the mouth, concentrating the contact more on the tongue.
This bit should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers.
