CowCreek 7" Reverse Gag Bit (Black Chain)
The CowCreek 7" Reverse Gag Bit is a great bit for seasoned horses to encourage more break at the poll and control. The reverse set mouthpiece gives a faster reaction time and offers more flexion and bend. The set back curb ring will delay the curb action.
The mouthpiece is a black steel chain. The chain conforms to the horses tongue with pressure applied to the corners of the mouth. The chain is a great option for horses with mouth damage, fat tongues, low palate or horses that haven't found another piece that they like.
This bit should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers. Like any bit this bit can be harsh in the wrong hands, soft hands are required. This is for advanced riders only.
