CowCreek JR Cowhorse Bit (Twisted with Copper Inlay with Copper Roller)
The CowCreek JR Cowhorse bit is a great step up from an O Ring for young horses, re-schooling or going back to a softer bit with educated horses. It is designed to encourage a horse to break at the poll for a more natural collection and encourages lateral bend.
The curved twisted copper inlay mouthpiece applies pressure across the bars without being harsh. Pressure is applied more evenly across the mouth than a two piece. The small amount of copper encourages the horse to relax and salivate, without being too stimulating or distracting.
This bit should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers.
