CowCreek CLR Bit (Caged Copper Bead with Cricket)
The CowCreek CLR bit is great for Collection, Lift & Rate. It has a delayed reaction time allowing the horse more time to do their job softly but the contact is there when you need it. The set back curb will help keep the shoulders square in horses that tend to over-bend.
The caged copper beads allow for a greater distribution of contact over the lips and bars. The copper beads and cricket assist in increasing salivation while the cricket keeps the tongue active which naturally relaxes the jaw.
This bit should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers.
